House of Holmes is a growing, full-package cut-and-sew manufacturing company seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment and is looking for flexible hours with meaningful impact. 

Position Summary 

The Accountant supports accurate financial recordkeeping at House of Holmes, managing core functions such as AP/AR, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and reporting. This role ensures ERP and cost data integrity while supporting leadership with timely, compliant financial information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a growing manufacturing environment. 

Compensation & Benefits   

House of Holmes offers a competitive compensation package designed to support our team both professionally and personally. This position includes a salary range of $50k-$60k annually,  depending on experience, along with access to medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-time team members also receive 80 hours of paid time off (PTO) and 40 hours of paid sick time each year. In addition, we are developing a performance-based bonus incentive program to reward employee productivity, efficiency, and contributions to team success. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage core accounting functions including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger support 
  • Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting 
  • Support job costing, margin tracking, and manufacturing-related financial analysis 
  • Coordinate payroll data and expense reimbursements 
  • Maintain accurate financial records within our ERP system (Odoo experience a plus) 
  • Support audit readiness, tax preparation, and compliance documentation 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing or job-cost environment preferred) 
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices 
  • Experience with ERP systems and Excel-based reporting 
  • Highly organized, accurate, and able to work independently 
  • Professional communication and discretion required 

Schedule & Compensation: 

  • Part-time position with flexible hours 
  • Pay based on experience (hourly or contract)
