House of Holmes was recently featured in an article from the Phoenix New Times. December was a huge month for the fashion industry in Arizona. The launch and opening of F.A.B.R.I.C., a three story, one stop shop for clothing production was born. F.A.B.R.I.C. is an acronym for Fashion And Business Resource Innovation Center. The space and services rendered are ground breaking for local designers. Up until this point, designers outsourced clothing construction to Los Angeles. Which is not only completely inconvenient, but costly as well. The F.A.B.R.I.C. space also houses all the requisite construction machines, a photo studio, recording studio, and resource library. The space is absolutely a dream come true for the local fashion hub.
House of Holmes offices and headquarters are located at the F.A.B.R.I.C. space. Lead designer and C.F.O. Tabitha Holmes is proud to be part of the Arizona fashion industry. The evening of the launch party, a fashion show was held for the public, press, and Mayor of Tempe. Our label featured the current winter collection on the runway. The article from Phoenix New Times mentioned, "The highlight of the evening was, of course, the runway show featuring House of Holmes designs." We're completely flattered to have been mentioned in Michelle Sasanov's article. And we look forward to all the continued success of fashion within Arizona.
